Houseplant Smart Gravel is a lightweight drainage filler designed to help reduce excess water around houseplant roots. It is placed at the bottom of a pot to create a drainage layer, helping support healthier root conditions for plants that are sensitive to overwatering.
Fill the bottom third of your pot with Houseplant Smart Gravel, then fill the rest of the pot with a soil blend suited to your specific plant. Place the plant above the gravel layer and water normally, making sure excess water can drain away from the roots.
